After their collaboration in Afghanistan, Pascal Convert asked the Iconem company to help him produce a series of surveys in major Armenian monasteries such as Geghard, Haghpat and Sanahin during the summer of 2018. At the core of the project lies the issue of the destruction of archaeological works, in particular the 3,000 khachkars (cross-stones) (12th-17th centuries) in the Julfa Armenian Christian cemetery, destroyed between 2002 and 2006 by the Azerbaïdjan authorities.During that mission, imprints of the rare khachkars saved from destruction and held at the seat of the Armenian Apostolic Church were made.
